I am the problem. I am the solution.
Clinical Psychologist and Group Therapist
Licensed Psychologist in Indiana and Illinois
I am a licensed psychologist in Indiana and Illinois with more than 40 years’ experience with adolescent and adult populations. My practice is spread across a number of areas of specialization. I have more than 25 years’ experience treating eating disorders. As a general outpatient therapist, I have extensive experience with mood disorders, both depression and anxiety. I also understand and practice 12-step principles in my work with recovering populations.
I am known for my direct manner and skill-building emphasis. I believe in human potential and orient myself toward teaching people how to manage their lives rather than assuming the role of managing their life for them. I am a fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA). I have found that group psychotherapy provides an effective and affordable avenue for personal change and skills consolidation, especially for people who struggle with relationships.
Approximately 30% of my caseload is adolescent. Another 30% is marital and family cases. The remaining 40% of my caseload consists primarily of adults with either depression or anxiety problems.
